Ship modelers start training on the lake in the park of Minny Gorodok
On October 18, training of Vladivostok ship modelers resumed on the lower lake of the Minniy Gorodok park in compliance with all the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor. A distance was set for radio-controlled copies and training was carried out for this class of models, as well as for radio-controlled yachts and self-propelled models. The event was organized in the context of the beginning of a new stage in the development of ship modeling at the G.I. Nevelskoy MSU and the upcoming completion of registration in Vladivostok of the Primorsky Regional Branch of the Ship Modeling Sports Federation of Russia. World famous ship modeler, 15-time world champion Vladislav Subbotin, professor of the G.I. Nevelskoy MSU, formed in Vladivostok the school of modeling as a sport and technical creativity. due to the rise in the cost of ship modeling, the further development of this sport requires serious financial investments from the state, the training of highly specialized teaching staff and the renewal of procurement. Rector's assistant for scientific work Mikhail Kholosha considers that Vladivostok has a powerful background, there is a good school of ship modeling sports, and there are water areas where even international competitions can be held.
