Aikido and kenjutsu at the Maritime University

In the early days of the new year, the «soft» gym opened in the Nevelskoy Maritime State University, in which the classes of Kyokuto aikido (Shiseikan) and kenjutsu Kashima sin ryu are conducted. Classes are conducted by the senior teacher of the Water Sports Faculty Oleg Pavlov (2nd dan aikido and kenjutsu).

All members of our dojo (Kyokuto aikido) have the opportunity to regularly attend training camps for aikido and kenjutsu at the Budojo Shiseikan base in Tokyo (Japan), as well as to be certified to levels from the 1st dan and above, subject to the successful completion of qualification tests.

However, annually in our dojo, seminars are held by the master of aikido and kenjutsu Janase Akinobu (6th dan). Anyone can attend these seminars.

We will be happy to see the Nevelskoy MSU students, cadets, employees, as well as all the residents of our beautiful city, who have a desire to join the unique Japanese culture such as aikido and kenjutsu (wielding the Japanese sword technique) Kasima sin ryu in our gym.
