International Diploma for Underwater Robot Operators
October and November at the Nevelskoy MSU is the traditional time for training course for operators of remote-controlled unmanned underwater vehicles. The Maritime University first passed licensing at the International Marine Contractors Association in 2010 and became the first university in Russia to train highly qualified operators of underwater robots. The trainers and lecturers training ROV pilots do not just teach and deliver lectures, but are also active pilots of remote-controlled underwater vehicles with a large quantity of working hours in very complex Arctic expeditions. At the end of the course, ROV pilots receive a certificate of international standard and a logbook that allow our graduates to successfully work not only in Russia, but around the world. The duration of training is 2-3 weeks, a group of students is up to 15 people. Entrance to the 2020 group is open.
